How to use the settings for composing emails:
Click the
icon on the right side of the menu bar. Click on .Click on
in the sidebar. Click on .Depending on the configuration, the following settings are available:
Defines the format in which emails are sent:
HTML. The email will be sent with html markup. You can format the email text.
Plain text. The email text will be sent as plain text without formatting.
HTML and plain text. The email will be sent with html markup and additionally as plain text.
Defines the preset font style for email text in html format.
Specifies how an email text is sent when forwarding the email.
Inline. The text is sent within the new email text.
Attachment. The text is sent as attachment to the new email.
Append vcard. Specifies whether your contact data will be attached to a new email in the vCard format.
Insert the original email text to a reply. Specifies whether the original email text is appended to an email reply.
Confirm recipients when replying to a mailing list. Defines whether you have to confirm the recipient when replying to a mailing list.
Default sender address. Specifies the pre-set sender address for new emails.
Note: The sender's name is displayed in front of the sender address. If you enter a name in the
input field in the account settings, this name overwrites the preset sender name.Always add the following recipient to blind carbon copy (BCC). To send each outgoing email as blind copy (BCC) to an email address, enter the wanted email address in this field.
